2017 Winter Match Play Final

Congrats to Adam Reed – 2017 Champion

Winter Match Play Winner Adam ReedIt has been a long time coming, but the 2017 Winter Match Play is FINALLY complete. The final matches of the Championship and Consolation bracket were finished this weekend.

The final match on Saturday featured a ton of great golf and needed 19 holes to declare a winner. Mike Debruyn made an impressive eagle on 18 to extend the match to the first sudden-death playoff hole. However, Adam Reed hung in there and ultimately won the match on the 19th hole to be crowned the 2017 Winter Match Play Champion — his second time winning this event. Congrats Adam!

In a match played today, Ryan Hardie put together a very impressive round of golf — including an eagle on the 2nd hole — to hold off Paul Wheatcroft and win the Consolation bracket.

Again, thank you to all of you for playing in this event. We had to battle through some very tough weather conditions, but you all did and played some great golf along the way. We look forward to this event next year and giving Adam a chance to defend his title. As always, we are open to any comments or questions you may have so please feel free to reach out to us if you do.

Time for some good weather and more golf!
